A beautifully detailed stainless steel tree sculpture with a rippled trunk and shimmering hand-scored leaves. The Serenity Tree brings elegance and tranquillity to any outdoor space.

Graceful and refined, the Serenity Tree is a stunning stainless steel sculpture that brings timeless beauty to any outdoor space. A more intricate evolution of our original Harmony Tree, this piece is rich in texture and shimmering detail.
The tall, flowing trunk has been meticulously hand-textured using a grinder to create a captivating ripple effect that catches the light like gently moving water. Each branch extends upward in a graceful arc, culminating in individually handcrafted leaves. Every leaf has been carefully scored using a Dremel drill, resulting in a unique high-shine pattern that glistens brilliantly in the sun.
Crafted entirely from stainless steel, Serenity Tree is not only visually striking but also weather-resistant and designed to last a lifetime outdoors. Whether placed in a garden, on a lawn, or as a central feature in a courtyard, this sculpture adds a sense of calm, balance, and elegance to its surroundings.
Corten Steel, also known as weathering steel, is a high-strength, low-alloy carbon steel first developed in the 1930s. It includes small amounts of copper, chromium, and phosphorus — ingredients that help it form a protective, rust-coloured surface when exposed to the elements.
The name ‘Cor-Ten’ is derived from its two standout features: corrosion resistance and tensile strength. In other words, it’s designed to be durable while naturally developing a stable patina that protects it from deeper corrosion.
The outer layer of rust that forms on Corten isn’t a flaw — it’s a feature. This reddish-brown surface shields the steel beneath from further degradation. If it gets scratched, the protective layer regenerates over time, making it remarkably resilient in outdoor environments.
To encourage the patina to develop, Corten needs exposure to changing weather — especially alternating wet and dry periods. If your product is placed in a covered or indoor space, the weathering process will take longer or may not occur at all. We can accelerate the patina process before delivery upon request.
Generally, you’ll see signs of the patina after a few rainy days, with full development taking 6–9 months depending on climate. The look continues to evolve over the first 2–3 years, especially in areas with fluctuating humidity and temperature.
⚠️ Note: Corten Steel isn’t recommended for very damp settings or coastal zones within 2km of the sea. Salt in the air can interrupt the drying phase, preventing the protective patina from forming effectively.

If you are installing the tree sculpture yourself, ensure it is securely fixed for stability.

Natural Patina Formation: Corten Steel develops its rich orange-brown patina through exposure to alternating wet and dry conditions.
Timeframe: The initial rust layer can form within days, with full weathering usually taking 6–9 months depending on climate.
Note: If your piece is placed indoors or sheltered from rain, the patina may take much longer to develop or may not form fully.
Do not seal or paint the surface unless you want to freeze the patina at a specific stage — Corten is intended to weather naturally.
Avoid constant moisture. Prolonged exposure to damp conditions (such as wet soil or poor drainage) can accelerate corrosion beyond the protective layer.
Wipe away debris such as wet leaves, dirt, or bird droppings with a soft cloth or brush to avoid staining or streaking.
Avoid harsh chemicals — just clean with water if needed. No detergents or rust removers should be used.
During the early stages of weathering, water runoff may carry rust particles that can stain adjacent surfaces.
To minimise staining:
Place the sculpture on gravel, stone chippings, or removable decking.
Avoid placing on porous surfaces like paving or light-coloured stone during the first 6–12 months.
If placing near walls or floors, consider a drip tray or mat to protect the surface.
