About Corten (Weathering) Steel and Certification
Corten steel naturally forms a protective, rust‑toned patina when exposed to the elements. This evolving surface both enriches the character of the piece and helps shield the metal beneath from deeper corrosion. Initial colour changes typically begin within weeks and continue to mature over several months, resulting in a unique finish for every sculpture. We provide material certification for our Corten steel—documentation available upon request for provenance and compliance.
